I am Lukas Müller

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. The program provides comprehensive training in theoretical and practical computer science, including Programming, Data Structures and Algorithms, Theoretical Computer Science, System Architecture, Concurrent Programming, Big Data Engineering, and Software Engineering. Personal interests include cybersecurity, data protection, and software development.

Teaching concurrent programming concepts and supporting students in understanding parallel computing, synchronization, and thread management.

Part of a three-person team developing an autonomous drone equipped with a LiDAR sensor. My primary focus is developing the software stack using ROS 2 (Robot Operating System), implementing nodes for navigation, sensor data processing, and object detection. I work with simulation environments like Gazebo and ArduPilot, addressing challenges such as LiDAR data preprocessing and autonomous navigation algorithms. This project combines custom hardware design with software architecture, allowing me to apply software engineering principles to real-world robotics applications.

Tutored introductory programming course focusing on functional programming using OCaml. Supported students in understanding fundamental computer science concepts including recursive functions, polymorphic typing, higher-order functions, and data structures. Taught programming language fundamentals (lexing, parsing, type checking, evaluation) and algorithm analysis.

As 1st Chair of MTP Saarbrücken, I led the strategic and operational management of the local branch. My responsibilities included organizing regular plenaries, strategic development, and representing the branch at the national level. I collaborated closely with the university, faculty sponsors, and partner companies, while developing leadership and project management skills and building a nationwide network.

As 2nd Chair of MTP Saarbrücken, I managed financial administration and supported strategic board leadership. I coordinated operations with the 1st Chair, led board meetings, and contributed to strategic development of the local branch.
